Outdoor Events

Embrace the fresh air, escape the indoors and enjoy an invigorating visit to Shakespeare’s England where the great outdoors makes it impossible to stay inside for too long!

Outdoor Festivals and Events

The grounds of stately home Ragley Hall come alive each summer with a variety of events celebrating music, family, the countryside and more. The annual Game Fair is a huge celebration of the great British countryside, with three days of outdoor sports, livestock, fashion, farming and food. Classic Ibiza and Fireworks Champions fill the air with music, dancing, and fireworks beneath the stars, and the Midlands Air Festival attracts the best air displays for miles around - including the Red Arrows.

The British Motor Museum hosts a range of outdoor motor themed events for all the family. Amongst the most popular are the monthly Gaydon Gathering get togethers which are attended by car enthusiasts from far and wide throughout the summer months and the annual Gaydon Land Rover Show which welcomes a huge selection of Land Rovers in a two day celebration of the British favourite.

At Warwick Castle you can experience outdoor jousting throughout the summer at Wars of the Roses Live, or catch the firing of the Trebuchet as it prepares for a siege. On summer evenings catch the epic nighttime spectacular Dragon Slayer in the castle courtyard, or party the night away at Sundown Spectacular with the best street food and live DJ’s around.

Leamington Spa’s Art in the Park is a free curated arts festival held every August in the beautiful Jephson Gardens and Mill Gardens at the heart of the town. The Warwick Folk Festival offers a great chance to discover new music and connect with like minds in a fantastic atmosphere in the beautiful green fields surrounding Warwick castle, and Kenilworth’s KENFEST is a popular family friendly, beer and music festival enjoyed by the whole town and visitors alike.

Food Festivals

With annual food festivals in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa and Alcester (to name a few), you can capture the fun atmosphere of our market towns as you sample the many wonderful flavours created by local and regional producers.
